Psychologists Marc and Helen Bornstein once did a study on the proportionality between growing population and the average speed of pedestrians in various cities. The results were surprisingly linear. While on a year out from studies, this inspired me to venture out and capture the fleeting populous of Hong Kong. Through the medium of photography the transient nature of the passerby is revealed. The form of a figure is present but physical features, personality and expression are lost in a motion blur.
